This is a New York style steakhouse serving top quality meat accompanied by delicious side dishes. The restaurant is owned by partners Yanhele Schein a well known restaurateur and one of Israel's legendary basketball stars – Derrick Sharp of Maccabi Tel-Aviv fame. Although this is a top of the line establishment the restaurant is down-to-earth, friendly and efficient service. The restaurant décor is a mix of dark brown, wood and stainless steel light fixtures with a splash of purple. In other words raw materials creating the perfect environment for creative and satisfying food with few frills attached. The bar has a large range of reasonably priced wines and alcoholic beverages to accompany your meal. A few of the dishes on the menu include Sichuan duck, salmon Carpaccio, chopped liver with horseradish cream and boneless chicken wings in teriyaki and Sriracha sauce. So you see the dishes are refined yet crowd pleasers.
One of the things that make the steak and other meat dishes here so unique is that the meat is aged on the premises. In fact the aging room is behind a glass panel so you can see the delicious meat maturing before your eyes! Also there is a special steak oven which reaches super high temperatures, and not only that but the sparkling water is bottled on the premises too! Shine and Sharp is not kosher.
