The challenge compound, Israel's recreational experience, has been opened recently at the southern inlets of Haifa on a 13,000 square meter area.
The initiator of the park is the Northern Extreme Sports Corporation, which has made it its goal to turn Haifa into Israel's capital city of challenge sports through utilization of the city's unique topography and wadis, Carmel Ridge and its breathtaking coast line.
the park offers an Olympic climbing wall, rappelling facility (also known as snapling), extended paintball area, professional skate park, huge cable slides and a trampoline and rope park.
At a later stage, a unique bicycling area will be added, as well as a shopping complex with a visitors' information centre for related fields of activity.
The park will host national and international competitions in the various fields of activity headed by leading Israeli companies such as: "Shafan HaSela", Israel Paintball, Adrenaline Productions and more.
The location, Haifa Congress Centre, a central junction at the north of the country.
How to get to the compound:
- By vehicle:
North: take Route 2 to the MATAM intersection (southern entrance to Haifa),left at the traffic light (Freud Road) and an immediate left at the next traffic light ("Kdoshey Yassi" Street), enter the marked parking area (on the left), entrance to the compound is by foot, follow the signposts.
South: take Route 4 (the old highway) to the MATAM intersection (southern entrance to Haifa); right at the traffic light (Freud Road) and an immediate left at the next traffic light ("Kdoshey Yassi" Street), enter the marked parking area (on the left); entrance to the compound is by foot, follow the signposts.
By train
Final destination should be the Carmel Beach Station (500 meters from the park's compound) -Congress Centre area.
- By bus:
Arrive at the Egged Central Bus Station (500 meters from the park's compound) - Congress Centre area and take bus 143 to the Haifa Mall.
