Tour Route
Enjoy the view of the Jordan Valley as you travel north to Tiberias to visit the grave of one of the most famous Jewish scholars that ever lived, Rabbi Moses Maimonides aka the Rambam, as well as the 2nd century sage Rabbi Meir Baal HaNes. From here you'll travel via the Sea of Galilee, in Hebrew the Kinneret, stopping for refreshments along the way at a diamond factory.
Upon arriving in Safed, or Tsfat, you will visit various synagogues and Kabbalistic sites, each with a story to tell, and finish up in the artists' quarter. As well as being the home of Jewish mysticism, Tsfat is known for its abundant art scene. The tour ends with a visit to the grave of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai on Mount Meron, where thousands of Jewish pilgrims come each year to celebrate Lag ba'Omer.
