Tour Route
Travelling
to Nazareth, you will pass by the Plain of Armageddon, the site where a final
battle between good and evil is prophesized to take place. Traveling up
Israel's coast you will be able to enjoy the view of Mediterranean Sea and the
scenic surroundings. The first stop in Nazareth will be the Church of the Annunciation,
where it is believed that the Virgin Mary was approached by the Angel Gabriel
with news that she would give birth to Jesus. The Church of St. Joseph is next
door to it, marking the residence of the Holy family and Joseph's carpentry
workshop.
The
tour continues to other places marking significant points in the life of Jesus.
The Mount of Beatitudes is believed to be where Jesus delivered his famous teaching,
the Sermon on the Mount. From there you will see the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha, marking one of the most famous
miracles of the New Testament.
Moving
on you will visit the City of Christ ruins and explore the ancient synagogue
there before heading to the Jordan River to the world-famous baptism spot of
Yardenit where you have the option to be part of a baptismal service. During
the journey back south you will get a good view of Mount Tabor, the location of
The Transfiguration of Jesus.
