Mona is situated near the top of Ben Yehuda Street in the center of Jerusalem. The ultra-stylish restaurant is headed by part-owner and chef, Moshe Gamliel. The French-style gourmet restaurant will make you forget you're in a Middle Eastern capital.
Wines are specially selected by the house Sommelier, and the exquisite menu has earned the restaurant very positive articles in renowned publications. For starters, you can choose between over a dozen varied hors d'oeuvres, which include Carpaccio, Sashimi, beef tartar and goose. Among the main courses you'll find hamburgers, risotto, sea-bass and lamb. There is certainly something for everyone here.
Later in the evening the restaurant adopts more of a bar atmosphere, and it is always packed so be sure not to turn up too late! Note that it is closed at lunch time on a Friday.
