The Israeli Airforce Museum is a vast display of Israeli aircrafts situated near Beer Sheva in the Hatzerim Airbase. The museum was founded in 1977 and has been open to the public since 1991. As well as Israeli air crafts, the museum displays foreign air crafts and anti-aircraft weapons.
The museum has over 140 exhibits, including missile launchers and missiles, and the aircrafts captured by the IAF from foreign armies. Guided tours are offered and can be tailored to the various ages and languages as required. During certain Jewish holidays, there are special aerial shows and other activities.
The museum is open from 8am-5pm on weekdays, closing at 1pm on a Friday. It is not open on Saturdays.
