The Tunisian Synagogue in Acre is one of one hundred synagogues in Acre but is one of a kind in the whole world. The entire structure is has endless mosaic art works when sometimes it is not certain where the wall ends and the ceiling begins. In the entrance there is mosaic floors which add to the holy ambiance. Not every day one actually walks on artwork, the feeling that some thing so valuable lays underneath your feet makes all visitors feel unique. The synagogue has stones from all over Israel: from Eilat's mountains, Timna mines, from the Golan Heights and the Galilee all in their natural state. The synagogue has artworks in memorial for the soldiers who died in the wars and the IDC, artworks of cities of Israel, the Israeli nature, birds and sea-life.
