The biblical Zoo named after the Tish family is located the
beautiful scenic Jerusalem offering exquisite mountainous views. The zoo is
approximately 60 acres and at its center is an artificial lake with small
islands where different species of animals roam freely.
This extraordinary
zoological collection consists primarily of animal which were noted in the
bible and very rare animals close to extinction. There are animals literally
from around the globe, from Africa's deserts to South American rainforests and
the Australian Outback. Besides all of these you may experience in the Biblical
Zoo a wonderful penguin show and a unique bird watching tour.
The Biblical Zoo's capacity is up to 11,000 visitors and you may choose between a guided tour or
roaming by yourselves.
