World renowned Chef Shaul ben Aderet best known for his Tel-Aviv restaurant Kimmel now shares more of his culinary talents at the Blue Rooster. The restaurant does not serve only one type of cuisine but instead offers the finest that each national kitchen can provide with an Israeli twist and the master chef's special touch. You can have a Japanese inspired dish, Thai classics or Mediterranean fare. The menu includes veal brains with spicy tomato marmalade and coriander pesto, chicken hearts with tachina and nuts, beet salad with lamb tortellini and grilled crab. The kitchen makes use of seasonal ingredients using fresh local produce. Their extensive wine menu is predominantly Israeli with some wines from boutique wineries and others from the better known and kosher Israeli wineries. The restaurant décor is elegant and includes antique fireplaces and a bistro atmosphere. There is warm and professional service by the attentive staff. Diners can choose between the intimate atmosphere inside or they can dine on the restaurant expansive terrace.
The restaurant is in the G Mall next to the prestigious Yoo Tower residential apartment blocks. The classy neighborhood is reflected in the refined and elegant style of this restaurant. The Blue Rooster is not kosher, has full handicapped access and is open from 12 noon until midnight.
