Tour Route
The tour will start with descending to the Judean Desert from Jerusalem. While making way to the Dead Sea we will enjoy a view of the city Jericho, known as “The City of Palm Trees” in Jewish biblical texts. Jericho is one of the oldest cities on earth inhabited to this day with evidence of settlement dating back to 9000 BCE. Upon arriving to the Dead Sea, one of the most toured sites in Israel, you will find many luxurious resorts offering spa and relaxation services ranging from private treatment baths, massages enriched with Dead Sea minerals and much more.
While spending time at the resorts, it is encouraged to head to the shore and experience the water’s special attributes allowing one to float with extreme ease. Along the shore of the Dead Sea you would find mud containing special minerals believed to contain medicinal and therapeutic qualities. Making your way back we’ll enjoy an overview of the Qumran Caves, a series of natural and artificial caves situated near the Qumran archaeological site, where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
