This is the most northern beach in Tel Aviv, and is open year round. Its northern location is the main reason for its prestige. The beach has two entrances, one through the northern gate, near the Mandarin hotel, and the second is through the southern gate, near the “Sea & Sun” real estate project. Near both entrances there are open parking lots so parking by this beach is never a problem.
This Tel Aviv beach attracts mostly families and young teenagers from the northern suburbs of Tel Aviv and from Herzeliya. Mostly young families come over or boys and girls who come to enjoy some beach-time after school. Although it usually full it never feels really crowded. The beach has two lifeguard stations, two café –restaurants and wide green lawns for those who prefer not get themselves all sandy. Alongside the beach there are quite a few playgrounds for kids and volleyball courts.
The southern part of the beach has a special area for various water sports such as boating. Hatzok, and Tel Baruch is the favorite beach for many people especially from the northern parts of Tel Aviv. So it is would be one of the best choices in this area, especially if you are traveling with kids
