At the point where the tourist compound of Ein Bokek is located the spring water that gave its name spills into the Dead Sea. On location there is a strip of hotels, and by its side there is a shopping center and a declared beach. Whoever comes to dip into the healing waters of the Dead Sea will find a comfortable organized beach that has even a yellowish sand dune that is not really related to the local scenery in its northern part, but I guess there is no better sand for a great vacation. Compared to a beach that has free entrance, it enjoys relative peace and is very clean the bathers have beach showers and coolers available 24 hours a day.
The weak point of the public beach is that a trip to the restrooms costs 2 shekels and is sanitary level is far from perfect. often the restrooms close and due to the lack of any other option you may have to go to the adjacent beach of religious people , which is free but at the end of the day are not really suitable for humans to use.The beach has a life guard. Shading huts and a tent compound (bring your own tent) for night lodging.
Night parking:
the nearby beach that is close to the Ein Bokek commercial compound is a good solution for those who are not really fond of the hotel strip and like the stars in the sky better. There are restrooms and showers; there are shaded huts and lots of salt. Entrance is free and if you forget anything you may just as easily buy something in the nearby shopping centerit is recommended to get in the water a bit before the strike of dawn, and float quietly, and look to the east where the sun rises.
