Royal Beach Hotel

The Royal Beach Hotel was built almost 20 years ago by the hotel chain Isrotel and has become the flag hotel of the company in Eilat and for the whole country. The hotel is located in the center of the strip and stands on the nicest part of Eilat's northern beach, though in the interest of fairness it has to be said that so do many others. Moreover, the hotel offers 5 star hospitality and is still one of the most impressive hotels in Israel. The price can get to $600 a night, so it isn't an option for everyone, but if you can – go for it!

Advantages: Isrotel service, great location and a private beach!
Disadvantage: The price
Price: Starting from $350 a night

Herods Hotel

Herods is divided into three sections (Vitalis, Palace, Boutique), but it is essentially the same hotel. Herods is one of the newest hotels in Eilat and even at its opening, expectations were high. The hotel is designed as a medieval Palace, with the intent of treating its guests like royalty. Herods is actually the most northern hotel on the strip and enjoys a fantastic private beach and close proximity to some of the best night life and restaurants in the city. The rooms are of a very high quality as well as being very large, and most overlook the pool and the sea.

Advantages: An excellent private beach, great nightlife.
Disadvantages: Wi-Fi costs 25 shekels per hour.
Price: Starts from $280

Dan Eilat Hotel

As nearly always, at least one Dan hotel manages to find its way into the top hotels list. As well as being one of the most prominent hotels on the Eilat skyline in terms of size and appearance, it stands out in other ways. As with all Dan hotels, the little details are high priority, making it truly outstanding from excellent food to the professional service and even the high level of maintenance. All this and more makes it one of the best hotels in the city.  So if you appreciate the finer things, the Dan Eilat could be the place for you.

Advantages: Service, maintenance, the amazing swimming pool
Disadvantages: As with many hotels in the city, they charge for Wi-Fi, a trend which needs to stop in our opinion!
Price: Starting from $300

Isrotel Lagoona Hotel

The Lagoona Hotel is a new entry in the list of best hotels, despite being one of the first hotel built in Eilat. Two years ago, the hotel underwent a general refurbishment and became an all-inclusive hotel, making it one of the most popular hotels around. So what is all-inclusive? Basically, you don't need to bring your wallet. Three meals a day, snacks and free drinks at the pool, entrance to everything the hotel has to offer with no extra charge, and many other surprises. This along with the refurbishment has rocketed the hotel into being one of the most desirable options in Eilat.

Advantages: All-inclusive
Disadvantages: A few minutes' walk from the beach
Price: Starting from $250

U Coral Beach Hotel

Another new player in the list of best hotels in Eilat. Again, the U Coral Beach was one of the first hotels in Eilat and transformed itself into an all-inclusive hotel after having undergone a refurbishment. This 4 star hotel offers excellent service and tends to your every need. Everything you could want is right there in the hotel and at no extra charge! The hotel is situated away from the main strip which could be a problem for some people, but we see it as an advantage. Why? The hotel has a large private beach befitting of Eilat's southern beaches.

Advantages: All-inclusive
Disadvantages: Far from the central strip
Price: Starting from $300 a night
