The house is found in Habalwar St, is used today by the reconstruction of the 'Rishonim' settlement association. Where Dr. Gideon Mar lives and works since 1929, who was sent by the British Government to find a cure for Malaria. Finding the antidote was no simple task, for there weren't so many patients.

Dr. Mar contaminated himself and his wife on purpose with Malaria in order to study the disease from upfront. After finding the cure for Malaria Dr. Mar was ranked a Colonel and went out fighting the disease in the entire British Empire. When Israel was declared a country Dr. Mar was the chief medical officer in the IDF, thereafter he was the first Chief of Staff of Israel's Health Affairs Office.
