Jaffa's Flea Market is situated in the center of Jaffa betweenJeusalem Boulevard and Yeffet St. It offers literally everything, from second hand clothes, fabrics and shoes, to antiques many household goods and different styles of furniture and even just a 16th century door knob. The Flea Market in Jaffa is one of the more charming places just to walk around. The main day of activity is Friday, when all the shops take out their merchandise on to the street and it turns into a real market attraction. French sofas, wood carved tables and pillow covers from India, Judaica, old enamel kitchenware, antique clocks and what not. You could probably find anything here, which makes your exploration here much more exciting and varied than your ordinary market.
The prices aren't as low as you might expect and you must bargain with the shop owners in order to get a reasonable price especially tourists. Even just walking around and observing all the various merchandise is very interesting. Just the setting of Jaffa is always unique so it’s worth taking your time and stopping off at some of Jaffa’s charming places such as Pooa or Shama (Rabi Nachman St.) cozy little cafes which are hidden behind the market’s streets.
