The flea market in Haifa has been opened for years in Lower Haifa. Roughly two years ago, after the number of venders rose steadily the market moved a few blocks upper and settled in the steep Alkalai street, which overlooks the lower part of Haifa. Nowadays the market holds more than 80 venders which display their goods side by side of both sides of the street.
The market is open Saturdays and Sundays, and to really enjoy its many goods, we suggest arriving early morning. The market opens in 5 AM. On Saturdays it stays open well into the afternoon, however on Sundays it closes at noon.
