The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art is proud to Present Herzliya 2009 at the Museum. An extension of the Herzliya Biennial festival that took place during the Sukkot holiday. The current show is made up of key works that had been gathered into the museum after the festival.
The exhibition celebrates the here and now. Herzliya 2009 at the Museum displays contemporary art alongside works from Israel's artistic History and created a dialog on the current Israeli art practice and its predecessors.
The exhibition showcases Israeli artists working in
Israel
and abroad. It was curated by the tree publishers of Picnic Magazine: Adi Englman, Meir Kordevani, and Toony Navok.
