Al - Mujadala Mosque, Acre

The Al Mujadala mosque is a mosque located in the ancient city of Acre (Akko). The mosque was built over the year 1809 till 1810 by Ali Aga, the deputy to the governor of Akko back then Suleiman Pasha, near Aga's home. The origin of the name of the mosque is impeded by the fact that the people who came to live in Akko mostly came from the Majdal village (it is not known as to which exact village, due to the fact that the land of Israel had more then one village named Majdal) the mosque has a main prayer hall and two additional rooms, next to them is a yard shaped as a trapeze. At the side of the prayer hall that heads out to the yard there is an arcade that carries three domes.
