Possibly the restaurant with the cleverest name in Israel is Kofi Anan. Not only is it named after the famous UN leader, but a great Hebrew pun. Kofi sounds like the English word coffee, and it's a coffee shop, so it's already great. Anan is the Hebrew word for cloud, so it is a restaurant that serves coffee in the clouds. True to its name, the restaurant provides a fantastic experience that offers diners a chance to enjoy excellent food and drink with a simply stunning view at the top of Mount Bental, from which you can view the Syrian border and the distant Syrian hills, as well as the magnificent Golan Heights.

The air is fresh and the atmosphere is tranquil. The dishes here are dairy and include salads, pastas, and soups in the winter. There are also special sandwiches and freshly-baked cakes. Close by you can visit the old military bunkers used in the 1973 Yom Kippur War and get an explanation of the battle and the history of the region in both Hebrew and English.
