The Rothschild 12 is the first bar of the R2M restaurant group (comprised among others of the The Brasserie, Coffeeshop and Hotel Montefiore). The bar is situated inside an old building undergoing renovation. After a simple restoration process the owners have managed to create a place with an amazing atmosphere. The bar’s events are purely musical, therefore there are roughly 20 performances of various artists per month.
As expected from the R2M group the menu is just legendary, simple yet delectable. The place possesses a marvelous backyard which, during summer nights, is filled with visitors coming to enjoy the venue. Two years since it’s opening the pub has flourished and expanded (in front of the bar a new coffee house was opened, its name being, surprisingly enough, Rothschild 12), and above all has definitely become an obligatory place to visit in the Tel-Aviv scene.
