Ein Gedi Beach Dead Sea

When the Dead Sea tide comes and goes so does the picnic park that is located adjacent the parking lot distances itself from the beach. So those who are interested in having a picnic on the shore of the Dead Sea really must walk slowly down the long slop until they get to the coast line. Even if you chose to sit up hill, under the tamarisk trees shade, do not miss the experience of walking slowly into the water. The high salt content of the water allows natural buoyancy, effortless, and creates a feeling of peace and relaxation. The beach strip that is authorized for bathing is very thin and short, about 20 meters over all, not great fun when there are many visitors. It is advisable to enter the water with sandals suitable for entering the water, because the sea floor is full of beautiful stones but not always very pleasant to step on.

The life guard's hut supervises the floaters from above, but you should make sure and be aware of not floating to far from the sea shore. Also contact with the eyes or an open wound is not a pleasant experience and provides a stinging sensation, it is recommended to warn children from jumping into the water.

The temperatures are relatively high even in the winter, and the air is dry and condensed, rich with oxygen and free of infection. Surprisingly despite the heat that is eminent all year round, due to the density of the air the UV rays of the sun go through a natural filtration. Tanning is more pleasant and safer. You may stop for refreshments or you may stay and sleep on the beach. Whoever does not come organized for a picnic may eat at the Ein Gedi beach tavern, which is open till the hours of the afternoon. On location you may find a buffet, a restaurant, restrooms, picnic tables, BBQs
