Trinity church is a Russian Orthodox church (an eastern Christian branch) located in the Russian compound in Jerusalem's center. The church was built between the years 1860-1872 by the Russian architect Martin Ivonovich Epinger. Epinger designed the church in a Moscow-Red square manner. In contrast to other sites in the compound the Trinity church is still running by the Russians and acts as rendezvous point for Russian pilgrims.
