A First Peek at the new Ritz Carlton Hotel in Herzliya

All being well, the first Ritz Carlton Hotel in Israel will open its doors on December 17. Seeing as it's been more than a decade since a new hotel opened in Herzliya, there is an air of anticipation in the city, and not for nothing. The hotel, which opens next month, will be the most lavish hotel in Israel and possibly the most expensive, too.

It seems that the organizers of this project didn't scrimp on anything, making this the most extravagant hotel in the country. Let's start with the lobby, located on the top floor of the hotel with a panoramic view of the Marina and Mediterranean, which includes the hotel's flag restaurant Herbert Samuel, under chef Yonatan Roshfeld (for those that don't know, this is currently one of the most highly acclaimed restaurants in Tel Aviv).  The restaurant will serve breakfast each morning for the hotel's guests and will be open to the public for lunch and dinner.

The rooms are just as lavish as the lobby, with 120 of the most luxurious bedrooms on offer in Israel. The smallest rooms are 40m2, while the Presidential Suites is over 180m2. The rooms' designs were inspired by the hotel's natural surroundings, with the principal colors beige and sea blue to represent the sand and the sea.

If you were worried about a lack of indulgent services on offer, you can remain calm. A spa spanning four floors will provide every possible treatment you could think of by the top therapists in the country. Of course, the top floor has an impressive swimming pool and a luxurious Jacuzzi.

How much will this all cost? If you aren't a high-flyer, you might not get the chance to experience the hotel's services. One night in the smallest room starts at $375, not including breakfast. If you're more inclined towards the Presidential Suite, you'd better have enough spare cash to fork out $2,500 a night. Of course, these are the base prices without considering national holidays, for example at Passover the smallest room will cost you $500.

The hotel isn't open for reservations yet, but as soon as it is we'll be the first to provide them and at the best prices. Stay updated by clicking this link.
