Nof Yam is located on the western side of the city, north of Herzliya Pituah ( Herzliya industrial area), with the deserted Al Haram village and Sidney Alley musk between it and the sea. This neighborhood has generally hold private homes and some new extravagant villas.
On the north western side, quite near the residential area is an old army plant, which was closed after an accidental explosion took place, killing two men and damaging surrounding homes. Most if its area is still closed out of fear of toxic substances. Next to it is Apollonia National park and in the neighborhood is Nof Yam elementary school. This neighborhood has 4 synagogues: Moroccan, Iraqi, Ashkenazi and Tripoli near the coast.
