Ein Gedi Sea of Spa, The Dead Sea

Open 363 days a year (closed on Yom Kippur eve and on Yom Kippur), to ensure you have just a good time all year round.Situated on the coast line of the Dead Sea and overlooking the impressive Moab mountains of Jordan, Ein Gedi Dead Sea Spa is a natural health center that combines the four natural elements of the area:  Water,  Sun,  Mud,  Air.

The Dead Sea is a wonderful natural creation combining four elements to become a single holistic experience. The sea water, the black mud, bromine saturated air and the sun's rays give life to Nature's Natural spa. Guests are invited to enjoy the thermo mineral sulfur water baths(with separated bathing for men and women available) in an air conditioned building, a fresh water pool, open to the public in season, while near the beach there is a "mud pool" that includes thermo mineral showers for body massage.

The Spa offers:
  • Pools of Thermo-mineral Sulfur water
  • Resting room
  • Massage
  • Beach
  • Swimming Pool
  • Shopping
  • Snack bar
Sea - The highest concentration of salt water in the world 10 times more concentrated then than for instance the Mediterranean Sea, and enables the effortless buoyancy principle so you may "float" whilst reading a newspaper.  It is a remarkable feeling, like no other!! Even people who don't swim may enjoy a dip in the sea!

Sulfur Springs - These thermo-mineral springs are rich with sulfur, magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium. These natural springs   are located beyond the mountains behind the spa complex and are pumped down into the structure into 6 pools that are divided into 'Men' – 'Women' – 'Mixed' bathing facilities to allow the at most form of privacy.
The natural minerals penetrate deeply and cleanse the toxins from the blood stream and are also extremely effective in the relief of arthritis and rheumatism. Your body is cleansed, muscle tension and pain are relieved and a deep sensation of calmness takes over. Fifteen minutes at a time is sufficient enough in the natural temperature of about 37º – 38º Celsius.

Swimming Pool (March-October) - A beautiful swimming pool that is especially designed for the entire family.
Sun – The 'brighter and cheerful' atmosphere at the Spa is definitely due to the filtered UV rays of the sun (330 days of direct sunlight a year ) the  ultra violet   rays are weak by the time they reach -420 meters below sea level creating almost impossible situation to get sunburns in .

Mud – The famous therapeutic black mud is available in abundance at the spa. Queen Cleopatra used it frequently, it is also used to relieve symptoms of arthritis and rheumatism and here the Spa provides you with the opportunity to simply 'Wallow' in it! Plaster it all over yourself or the entire family, look at yourself in the mirror and take a picture. The result?  Silky smooth clean skin. Even the men are seemed to care.

Air – the air Dry and rich with oxygen and bromide. The bromide reduces blood pressure and relaxes the nervous system. The oxygen (23 percent) opens the respiratory system and makes physical exertion easier. What could be healthier?  Is there somewhere else in the world where you can get these elements by natural means whilst just having a good time?

In addition to all of the above the Spa also offers a variety of treatments, for example:
  • Swedish massage Aromatic Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage Mud Wrap
  • Peeling Reflexology
  • Hot Stones Massage
